First let me say that I have 3 boys, and I've been buying clone trooper outfits on and off for the last 5 years. In the past they have been just short of junk. This year I was VERY pleasantly surprised. The helmet is much improved. It's thicker plastic and much more sturdy. The only drawback is it had a really strong plastic smell when we first opened it. Let it air out for a day and it was fine. Another really nice surprise was the belt actually fit my 5 year old! This has been a big problem in the past. They did away with the velcro and it simply ties in the back now. From the looks of it, it would fit anywhere from a 4 year old on up without problems. The rest of the costume is much better made as well.I read some of the other reviews and to be honest I was nervous I was in for another disappointment. I'm thinking they must have gotten a different costume or maybe not a "deluxe" one? Get this one and you'll be happy you did. My son LOVES it.This costume is great. Rather than the flimsy fabric of your typical Halloween grade costume, this Clone Trooper costume has thin padding all along the legs, arms, shoulders and chest of the suit. The helmet, better than most, has a front and back and looks great although it is put together with very thin strips of velcro which need a bit of work to get them to stay in the beginning. The rubber belt is very realistic looking however my one complaint is that it is soooo large that it would likely only fit a 300lb person. I could almost wrap it around my son twice. Ended up using binder clips to cinch it tight so that it would fit him.My 4 yr old received this costume in August last year (we wanted to make sure it wasn't sold out for Halloween). He played with it every day until Halloween, attended 3 parties with it, and still wears it at least 3 times a week (mid February now). It has held up tremendously. Was definitely worth the price b/c my son is very hard on clothes. And now that Halloween is over, he continues to play with it as a dress up costume when his sisters put on their princess gowns. We got the medium size, fearing the small would be too small. My son is 4/5 or 5/6 depending on the label clothing, and this costume is still very long on him. But that's ok, we just fold up the legs and he can play in it.My son doesn't fit into many child size things anymore but he wanted this costume! Was nervous the large would not be big enough and it did not come in extra large. It fit great. He loved it and was the coolest one of all the Star Wars guys on Halloween. The Helmet was difficult to keep on for long but it looked cool!Once again, I think this costume was over priced. Also, the painted accents are yellow, not orange. The helmet smelled like a paint and/or glue factory for about a week and I didn't want my 5-yr-old son inhaling the fumes... However, he loves it and thinks it is Halloween costume greatness. My boys play "dress up" all of the time so this will go well beyond October 31st, or I wouldn't have bought it. The belt is very large, like other reviews say, but it does tie...Bought this for my son, he loves it! For the price, you get what you pay for - but its definitely higher quality and will last long after halloween is over. Only issue was the plastic used in the helmet visor- it is not high quality and its very hard to see though as it looks foggy. I just used a razor blade and cut it out so my son can see while wearing the helmet, not a deal breaker by any means.I have purchased various costumes online and this particular costumed met and exceeded my expectations. While other reviews stated that the helmet does arrive with a very strong "plastic" smell, it does "air out" and wears just fine. The helmet also has foam inserts that allow it to be worn properly. The belt also ties in back and fits properly as well. The only drawback ist that the helmet is a little hard to see out of when looking through the clear plastic. I guess a few modifications could easily fix that. My son is 52" tall and the medium fit perfectly. It was nice to finally have a product that essentially worked right out of the box.Costume is cool but it’s missing the mask. We’ll have to return and hope the new one comes in time.This was a pressie for my nephew - and to be honest, I didnt even know who Trooper Cody was!!Its really good quality, I had to post it Singapore, and was light - so it was ideal for him.El disfraz es de lo mejor que se puede obenter por este precio. Las piezas que forman la armadura están bien conseguidas. En mi caso, lo he complementado con un casco completo de clon, sustituyendo el casco parcial que viene incluido.Quizás hecho de menos un mejor acabado en la parte de la espalda.El envío inmejorable, como siempre.Sehr entäuchend das Kostum ist ok und die grösse auch .Aber die Maske die eigentlich das A und O ist ,finger weg es ist das letzte mein sogn hatte sie einmal auf und sie ist gleich gerissen da diese aus sehr dünnem plastik besehtDizfraz para niños que cumple su función . El arma no viene incluida .El casco es una careta de plastico . Lo que peor veo es el visor , no es muy recomendable que el niño se pase mucho rato con la careta por ello , deforma toda la visión , al ser un plastico transparente normal .Por eso las 3 estrellas .Maschera di qualita' con finiture molto curate
