Installation was pretty easy, I recommend watching a video to make sure you understand all that is needed. Having access to a core drill made the install easy.Since installed I have seen kids pulling themselves up with it, even though I don't want them doing that, and it held up quite well. It has remained solidI’m a professional installer so my ratings are all high . This is the absolute best stainless swimming pool rail on the market IMO . This specific rail has an extra brace which qualifies it for commercial use. It’s the only railing worth installing .This is exactly what we needed. It looks great and is very sturdy. We had it installed by the guys that installed our paver patio. They also grounded it to meet electric code. I would not recommend self-installing unless you really know what you're doing. The delivery was amazingly quick. We ordered in on Thursday and it was here Friday.I have a hunch if I could install it, I would be very happy with it. Seems very strong, exactly the kind of handrail I wanted. However, I have so far been unable to find anyone willing to bore the holes in my cement. I have tried a couple of handy man services on the internet and no one wants the job. At this point, I am not sure what to do. I am an old man and use my pool often and need the handrail. I live in Las Vegas so you would think there would be many calls for this kind of job.Update: I found and hired a Professional to install the handrail. It cost me $350, but now that is in use, it works great. I would have to stop using the pool without the handrail. I have changed the rating to a 4 (from a 1 ). I would give it a five but the installation cost was expensive.Took some work to install but have an extremely handy husband. So thankful for the sturdiness.Base tubes were 1/4 inch off (too narrow) and had to be spread in order to be installed in base. I was able to do this by fabricating a pair of levers to spread the bottom tubes enough to be installed. Unfortunately, we did not notice the dent until it was installed. On the plus side, the handrail is attractive, with a good finish, and solidly made.We rented a core drill, measured and put it in.Did not come with base to attach
