This product was exactly what I was looking for. The adhesion was best at higher temperatures. On cooler days I used staples to help hold the tape in place until the day warmed up. The surface of the tape is textured to prevent slipping which is a very thoughtful design. Also, after usingnother similar products in the past the Vycor is easy to cut and the tape backing comes off easily and in 300 feet of tape applied it did not hang up or tear. Also, I noticed that the screws I used to attach the new composite decking through the deck protector tape sealed up tight to the acrews as the tape adhesive grabbed the screw and sealed up the fastener hole without twisting up the tape's surface. Really a flawless product in my eyes and plan to use it on all future decking projects. Easy to work with and pleasure to apply.
