These screws work well with Trex Elevations steel deck framing. Have a 1/8 inch step bit handy in your tool belt. I found that these screws had trouble self drilling through the top or bottom flanges of the Elevations header track, so a pilot hole was necessary. Attaching the joists to the headers and the mid-span/ beam blocking both were easily done with these screws, no pilot hole needed.
