I work as a service tech for a pool company. I started wearing xtratuffs and loved them at first. My first pair slowly started leaking after 2 months of use. After 5 months of everyday use they were completely shredded. I decided to spring for the “commercial” grade version xtratuff… mistake! I didn’t even get 3 months of normal use! I bought a pair of Grundens to use as a nice pair. Thanks to Xtratuff I had to break out the fresh boys.They run smaller than Xtratuff so they were a little bit tight at first. But after 8 months of everyday use they have broken in perfectly. More importantly, they show almost no signs of wear/tear. I’m impressed with how much better these boots are than Xtratuff!Need to break them in,runs a little snug out of the box.Great deck boot but FYI... they run a little small so consider ordering a size larger than normal.Fit great, the white color stays cooler than others. Holding up fine after three full days of fishing. Probably could find at a better price.I’ve had these for just over a month and I have noticed a little bit of water starting to creep in recently. I wear these 5-6 days a week for 8-10hours at a time in wet conditions. They are very comfortable and very slip resistant. They keep most of the water out but not all. I will probably purchase another pair in the future so long as they don’t fall apart within the next 5-6 months.Will use when I go out on boatBest water shoe I've found. Fair price, my feet stay dry, very comfortable and good quality material! What more could you want. The perfect water shoe for me. I detail cars and my feet always got wet. Other water shoes the kept my feet dry but weren't as comfortable. These are both comfortable and keep my feet dry.Grundens did a good job although they are a bit late to the game with the fashionable deck boot. Grab a pair of these for all day comfort and super sticky, non-marking sole. Now you can chum it up with all of your Salt Life and Huk bros down at the filet station.
