Website description is vague at best. Good things - great Kohler construction/materials! This diverter takes two inlets and diverts between the tub spout and a hand shower. Bad part - three of the four couplings (both inlets and the tub spout outlet) are 3/4". Nearly all hot/cold water plumbing hoses (at least at Home Depot) don't go larger than 1/2". Moreover, since the couplings are NPSM (straight, not tapered), even 3/4" to 1/2" adapters (which you can find) don't provide a watertight fit, even with plumber's tape. Not sure why they didn't make all of the inlets/outlets 1/2" NPT....
