This dinning set wasn't hard to put together,come with 2box, my 6 year son and I assemble it together, As long as you are patient and not in a rush,It took us 2 hour to finish,After I screwed in the screws,I went over them again to be sure they were tight.My husband and I are big people,We both weight around 240 lbs, The chair can handle us. Sitting in the backyard with a cup of tea is kind of relaxing,the cushion is soft .This started out rough-- but turned out great. I purchased Amazon assembly along with this patio furniture set, because i am not a handy person. The patio furniture box arrived on time, the amazon assembly person came as scheduled, but when he opened the box, the glass table top had shattered all over the inside of the box. I was terribly frustrated and reached out to amazon and also directly to the seller. The seller responded within 24 hours, apologized and resent another full patio set which came within a few days. The hassle was that i was left with a giant box full of broken glass to contend with, but I got that sorted out.The re-sent patio furniture arrived within a few days and I again scheduled Amazon assembly. The assembly person stated that this was one of the better patio furniture sets that he has seen and he was able to put it together pretty easily. No issues.It looks great and I've had a lot of compliments on it. Most of the time, if I know it's going to rain, I've brought the cushions inside, but a few times they got rained on and I was pleasantly surprised how the water bubbled up and did not penetrate into the cushions much at all and they dried very quickly. I still bring them inside IF i know it's going to rain but the whole set seems to hold up well during the rain. I plan to bring it inside for the winter.One of the table legs wobbles very slightly - the assembly person said it was likely just the way it was manufactured, but overall, for the price, i am very happy with this purchase.Our summer afternoon is so hot, so I moved these chairs and table to my kitchen, and it’s so good that the black glass table is match with our original dinner table, and the chairs is sturdy but light that my 2 years old son can easily climb up and down.Held up great for 2 years and going strong!Set up patio dinning chairs and table on my porch when I office the job and lay on it feeling comfortableI like this very much and thanks to Dimar Garden...definately a challenge to assemble. Delivered in one box safely. It took approximately 2-1/2 hours to complete. I had 3 screws leftover when completed. Came with directions, and somewhat helpful, but does require lego building type mechanical knowledge. An allen L shaped wrench included. A lot to digress and figure out that is not included in directions. I assembled 5 pcs of table first. The key is to assemble screws loose and then go back and tighten so that all 4 legs evenly adjust to touch floor. Same with chairs. There is a method of assembling 4 components of chairs not explained in directions. First the components are not labeled left or right or seat. The backrest is obvious. Take caution to place curved leg to the rear of chair. A better indicator. I assembled the backrest last on each chair. I screwed top 2 screws of backrest first loosely, then press in bottom portion and tighten with 2 screws. It is a very tight fit. Then go back to top and tighten those 2 screws. Essentially squeezing in the sides of each chair against the backrest. Note that 2 top screws will only be visible from outside of chairs.I just put my set together alone and it took me about 1hr and some change. It was not the best instructions for it only had pictures and you had to basically figure things out on your own. Sometimes you will notice the piece does not line up with the holes, just switch with another piece and it will be fine. You have to actually start assembling it to get what I am saying. My hands hurt because the screw key that is included will start to hurt your fingers because its so many screws to get in with a small key screw. It seems sturdy to me, but its not 100% Hassell free with assembly. If they would make it a little easier then this could be a great product. Also one of the holes on my chair is not screwing correctly, its faulty. I wont go thru the Hassell sending this back since its not that big of a deal so just left it and made sure the other screws were in good shape.
