Received spindle assembly 29 July 2020, and promply installed and started mowing. Grass was tall due to heavy and prolonged rains. Yesterday 21 September 2020 while mowing I heard an unusual noise and shut off mower. Looking down I could see the end of the blade sticking out under the deck. It had detached itself from the spindle. I reattached the blade, hand starting the bolt by hand, and tried to tighten with an impact driver but the bolt just spins and will not tighten. Bolt (Grade 8) is not stripped or damaged. The bolt simply will not screw into the spindle shaft (shaft spinning?) Ordered Genuine Grasshopper spindle, twice the price, plus the purchase price of this worthless paperweight. Could not contact seller through Amazon.
