Stegmeier SDDT 40 ft. Deck Drain System - 5 Sections (Tan) for Patio, Pool & Outdoor Water Drainage Solutions

I installed this around my pool - concrete base and thin set travertine pavers. After watching online videos, the installation looked fairly straightforward. There are a couple of things to be aware of. The drains are very flexible and can be difficult to keep straight. When using the connectors, be sure to hold them down firmly until the cement is fully dry - they are not as tall as the inside of the channel and tend to want to lift up leaving a gap between the connector and the bottom of the channel. While not the end of the world, it will cause a leak and most likely tend to want to catch debris. I used 1/2” screws to secure the channel to the connector (2 on each side) and the problem was resolved. I will use again on the next project.
