I've used this sealer for two years on an Ipe dock. Easy to apply and much more environmentally friendly than their oil base product. I do use their oil based sealer (Ipe Oil) on two porches (one Ipe and one Mahogany) at home. The oil definitely gives a better uniform coat/color, although it has to be wiped down after application. The WiseCoat (water based) can get a little blotchy if you are not careful in the application. Still love it. I also use Deskwise cleaner and brightner on my porches at home.DeckWise is also a great company. Have called for advice a few times for help with fasteners to sealers and I always spoke with a knowledgeable person. I've purchased at 7-8 gallons of sealer form them over the years. We had a minor problem with gallon which I reported to the seller (The Stain Depot). It was minor and I even said I used the gallon and wasn't asking for a replacement, I just wanted them to know about it if other people reported it. The Stain Depot spoke to DeckWise and they replaced to Sealer! I'll be using both companies again.
